Jean has been training animals for over 40 years and has had great success training a variety of animals. She has raised many of her own animals and cared for other peoples' as well. She has taken many educational courses on animals and their behavior, and constantly looks for new opportunities to increase her education.

In addition to being a manager of a commercial kennel for a number of years, she has worked in an animal shelter, and has evaluated thousands of dogs of different breeds, ages and problems. She loves working with animals and people to help improve their relationship and compatibility, so that they can enjoy each other’s company over a lifetime.

Knowing not everything is a quick fix, Jean enjoys going that extra mile to achieve the goal at hand. In order to reach that goal of compatibility she insists on getting to know each animal as an individual and less on breed stereotype. With her increasing knowledge on dog language, she tries to find out why there is a problem in the first place.

Whether in a class situation or privately, Jean enjoys working with people and their animals to make teaching both you and your animal a fun learning experience.
